This Grey Currawong was walking from planting site to planting site to systematically investigate our laid out debris and decomposing layers of wood chips (rich in invertebrates).

Very good. I saw the Grey Currawong a few times when I lived in Watson in the 1970's & 80's and used to go jogging on Mt Majura. Glad to see it is still up there.
M My first observation of this species was at my place in Hackett. I very much enjoyed the observation of this one because of its inquisitive behaviour which I much enjoyed to observe and because it gave me the impression that somehow we do the right thing in providing habitat for woodland birds (ie layering debris to attract invertebrates).
