There are three similar Leucopogon species in the ACT. According to Rosemary Purdie’s comments on sighting 1946630 Other Shrub Leucopogon virgatus (Common Beard-heath) on 25 Sep 2015
It could be Leucopogon microphyllus subsp. pilibundus or Leucopogon attenuatus. Detailed examination of the leaves and of the flower clusters (number of flowers in a sub-cluster) is necessary before a decision can be made.

This is Leucopogon attenuatus (leaf tip with small point as opposed to L. microphyllus blunt tip) and there is also Leucopogon fletcheri in great numbers around this area L. virgatus and L.fletcheri flower later in spring.

This is definitely Leucopogon attenuatus. Why put L. sp. when you know the species?

I did not know which of the two possible species it could be until your comment.
