According to LBH this moth has been recorded feeding on the dung of koalas. The moth larvea feed on and pupate inside the dung itself.

So are there any Koalas in this vicinity?

No I don't think so. Plenty of Brush-tailed Possums though. Nearest Koala is probably in captivity at the National Zoo and Aquarium several kilometres away at Scrivener Dam. There are no records of koalas on CNM in North Canberra suburbs or the adjacent nature reserves. They have been recorded in Namadgi National Park to the south of Canberra and once to the east at Kowen Escarpment (1992). Quite rare in the wild in the ACT I would say. Is this species restricted to koala scats?
