User's notes

It is a largely unfounded and possibly naïve assumption that this is the larva of the Acacia leaf beetle, on the grounds that a few were found on the same plant and not that far from several adult Calomela bartoni.

This is not a Calomela larva which are lack spines and are somewhat bulbous, see images on the internet. It is possibly a moth larva.
