The Plantnet key separates Cerastium glomeratum and Cerastiuk vulgare on the basis of the hairs on the sepals. In glomeratum the hairs continue to and project past the apex. In vulgare the hairs do not continue to or project past the apex. The excellent definition of hairs on the sepals of the bud shows hairs at the base but do not show any hairs near the tips.
