User's notes
Cockatoo nestling on ground directly under nesting hollow previously reported by KL (seen in photo 5). Watched intently by adult bird in photo 3 (parent?). On our return, it was surrounded by adults, one of which was pecking its tail. KL kindly took it to the emergency vet, but sadly it had to be euthanised due to beak and feather disease.
