The P. thiocrossa specimens in ANIC are from southern Queensland (1 northern NSW), and have a slightly different forewing pattern to this photo. This one appears to be one of several very similar greyish species of the same Philobota mathmatica group as P. thiocrossa, for which most ANIC specimens are from the southern tablelands, particularly Black Mountain. Philobota thiogramma is another similar species with a similar range.
