Something went wrong when I tried to reverse my confirmation of Convolvulus angustissimus. The confirmation line disapoeared but the operation timed out before the header changed.
I can see why you think this may be Convolvulus arvensis. The leaves apoear to be too wide for angustissimus and the basal lobes more like those of arvensis. Arvensis flowers are usually white but occasionally pink. What size were the flowers? Plantnet says arvensis flowers are 15-25 mm long and 5-13 mm diameter; angustissimus flowers 7-20 mm long and 7-20 mm diameter.

Betty, there is a much more recent key to the Australian species of Convolvulus to be found in this monograph of the genus, it includes the species PlantNET lists but hasn’t incorporated into their key see: Wood JRI, Williams BRM, Mitchell TC, Carine MA, Harris DJ, Scotland RW (2015) A foundation monograph of Convolvulus L. (Convolvulaceae). PhytoKeys 51:1–282. doi: 10.3897/phytokeys.51.7104. Available at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4489078/pdf/phytokeys-051-001.pdf
The key to Australian species is on p30-31 and the species descriptions from p119-128

Ken. Can you summarise the differences between the two species in a comment here. I used the Vicflora key of August 2015, except for the flower dimensions.

Both of these species are highly variable and many characters seem to have some overlap and may not be readily distinguishable in a casual photograph. The following is where there are differences to be found between the species in the monograph. Plant overall: C. angustissimus pubescent to subglabrous; C. arvensis glabrous to sparsely hairy. Leaves (from key): C. angustissimus leaves usually strongly dimorphic and/or with narrowly linear segments; C. arvensis leaves not or only weakly dimorphic, the segments never linear. Sepals: C. angustissimus 4–7 × 2–2.5 mm, elliptic, rounded or acute, minutely mucronate; C. arvensis 3.5–4.5 × 2.5–3.5 mm, obovate to oblong, obtuse to mucronulate. Corolla: C. angustissimus 1.2–2 cm long, usually pink, weakly lobed, midpetaline bands pubescent only near apex; C. arvensis 1.5–2.5 cm long, white or pink, undulate but not lobed, midpetaline bands often dark pink, pubescent. Style and Stigma: C. angustissimus style divided 3–10 mm above the base, stigmas 1–2 mm; C. arvensis style divided 7–8 mm above base, stigmas 2.5 mm.

It looks as if the glitch that failed to revers my confirmation has not been fixed. I will confirm as Convolvulus arvensis for the time being.
Alison, how does that detailed description fit your plant?
