Looked and moved just like an ant, but kept hiding behind loose bark unlike ants. Image 5 was taken on the same tree (E. mannifera) the next day.

I think it may be Myrmachne erythrocephala - the misnamed Red-headed Ant Mimic

I think this also look more like Myrmarachne luctuosa because of the way it caries its front legs, appearing much longer. M erythrocephala and M luctuosa appear quite similar and the range of erythrocephala would appear to be broad enough. I do not known the luctuosa range but maybe restricted to the tropics?
