User's notes

Location is a residential house, within 250m of co-ordinates. Property owner wishes it to be kept hidden. It looks much like Hypoblemum villosum "Shaggy Red-headed House Hopper" p.251 in Whyte & Anderson 2017

This link above (found by CathB) provides updates of taxonomy (FEB 2019) for this species. Previously it had been clumped in with H. albovittatum or H. villosum and no one had done definitive work on more species within Hypoblemum. Now though (as you will find in the link), this is updated and it's a species of its own (yay!). This particular individual is a male Hypoblemum griseum. Please have a look at the link for descriptions and photos (it's very informative!).
