Was it in an undisturbed area? It sort of keys to Pelarginium australe in Vicflora. In Plantnet, I need a count of fertile stamens (all the stamens in the photos had lost their anthers and I could not count them) and whether the stems are fleshy or not.

Thanks Betty for the ID. This was my first successful record with the new app and didn't want to do too much before I knew it worked - I had been having some trouble.
The plants were in a disturbed site and looked taller and stragglier than I had seen before though that could have been due to shade.
I will try to see if there are some fresher flowers.

I had another look at the Plantnet key and there is nothing else it could be. I thought it was not in the suburbs, but there are a couple of other sightings.

Thanks. I can count 7 stamens, 2 very short, so that is OK.
