Other things to look for are the colour on the backs of the petals and sepals, which is pale in carnea and darker (dusky) in fuscata. The labellum side lobes tend to be more upright in carnea, but rolled inwards in fuscata, although this seems to be a bit variable. C. fuscata only ever has one flower, while C. carnea can have one or more.
