Oh oh! I did say 'seemed'! Did you note the slight kink in the antennae?

Given you say its was smaller I'm less confident of the ID. Moth in the ACT says the larger blue green foresters are P. viridipulverulenta. I thought the head extent of blue-green colour didnt seem to match smaller Pollanisus (genus) species examples.

Ian, thank you. I noticed that this one seemed smaller and more agile compared with the foresters I had observed so far. It would be nice to get one down to species level ID!

The date has now been corrected. Somehow the month and day were reversed when the record was posted

Without closeup photos of the leaves, stems, and often a sideways view of a flower, it is impossible to be certain of the ID at speciesmlevel.
