MTC051: Boboyan Rd Bridge

Remote FW site, part of a 6 site cluster, close to Mt Clear area/Boboyan Rd

 Boboyan Road Bridge- Stephanie’s site 51, high fire severity site

Part of a 4 site cluster: MTC100, MTC121, MTC122, MTC051- 2 site cluster NRF052, NRF055, all near Mt Clear area and Boboyan Rd.

Follow Boboyan road to the south from visitors centre for 43 km till you see the bridge over the Naas River. The site is approx 550m before turn off to Naas Fire trail/Mt Clear Campground. Survey on the North side of the crossing, on both sides of the bridge as the sound of the running creek drowns out frog calls on the other side of the bridge.

Camp at Mt Clear Campground MTC121 for 2 nights to do all 6 sites

C. scalaris seems like a good guess, Harvey. But I'll leave it as Castiarina sp., as I can't really see enough to confirm the species.
