Hi Michael, we're still thinking pallida. Have added another image of the face which will help. Using other photos and the revision of Prostheclina ( https://media.australianmuseum.net.au/media/Uploads/Journals/18046/1471_complete.pdf) we see clypeus and chelicerae orange (rather than mid-dark brown, clypeus with an orange fringe and brush on front legs much less prominent than in amplior and mostly on the medial surface. The problem is that in the revision, Canberra is not in the expected distribution and in iNaturalist, there are no records in this area. In iNaturalist, the images of amplior show a distinct stripe on the cephalothorax and abdomen, which the images of pallida lack. So - what do you think?

Sorry I didn't see this earlier - it seems like alerts aren't coming through.
I'm happy with P. pallida; sounds like Roger has been very thorough :)
Just a note for distribution: So far all of the sightings of Prostheclina sp (including P. amplior & P. pallida) in this region on CNM have been from a particular section (and on the same handrail?) of the Botanic Gardens - mostly by TimL (#4235033 was the first one and has a small discussion on it). Since ANBG has plants transported from other regions and there is consistently regulated habitat that otherwise wouldn't be found in this area, it's not entirely unlikely to find a species that shouldn't usually be present either. So don't worry about distribution; you have done a great job with ID!
