Why rule out Oecophoridae? It looks quite like Pseudotheta syrtica

Yes, definitely an Oecophoridae, and it seems similar to Pseudotheta syrtica. But the position of the dark spot doesn't quite match the several dark spots on that species, and the palpi in this photo are much longer. (The palpi show in a few of the BOLD photos, esp no 12.) There are other possibilities with longer palpi including Pteromicta spp, but that doesn't quite match. All these species are grey to the naked eye, with various whitish central streaks with or without dark spots. All are grey to the naked eye, not matching this photo, but that may be a lighting effect. Did this moth look grey to the naked eye, or browner like the photo? It's probably going to be hard to go further than Oecophorinae sp.

I think more brownish than grey, but very pale. If anything, my finger colour would be very slightly warmer than it appears here, so if I adjust that, the moth is browner.
