Closest match I could find was Pycnocera hypoxantha which seems to be sexually dimorphic. This would need to be the female, although this species apparently has a northern NSW and Qld distribution.

While i see the similarity with L. brontoscopa I remain somewhat unconvinced. I don't see the characteristic large antler-like elongated palpi which many specimens of that species show. Or is that a sexually dimorphic feature?

L. brontoscopa are a little sexually dimorphic in wing pattern, and very much so in labial palpi. Both sexes can be seen in the previous CNM reports.
