Weeds are the only plants that germinate and thrive in the overgrazed Mt Majura nature reserve. The kangaroo population is 10times of what is considered sustainable. There is no hope to improve the condition of the grassy woodlands if the government is not managing overgrazing. Volunteers waste their time. We'll end up with either a weedy woodland (if we stop soaking the nature reserve with herbicide year in year out) or a wasteland. In deep frustration waltraud
