First time I've seen a completely yellow flowered plant of the proposed species, so my identification could be wrong. All the other plants had the usual colouration, perhaps someone forgot to add the bacon to this one.

I suspect there is a genetic change, a bit like happens in albinism, and the plant lacks the gene(s) that produce red.
