Is this Themeda? Hairs at base of sheaves. Growing in a small patch of grassland on the side of a drainage line.
I am practicing my grass ID with the grasses at the park on my street.

Please continue practicing Matt. That looks like a nice bit on woodland. There might some more natives there.

It's a tiny bit of grassland about 20m X 10m. It appears to have Chilean Needle grass in the edges.
