I had thought it was a good match to the picture in the Whyte and Anderson book, but they say it's found in rainforest in northern Qld, so I thought it seemed unlikely! I couldn't find much more online. It was in a more open area surrounded by woodland on an exposed west-facing slope. There are patches of bare stony soil with low shrubs, but it is often a bit damp (seepage?).
Can you say where Cath..roughly? Salticids et al are easily dispersed via human transit and transport....seeing more than one would dent that theory.....
