While this looks likely to be a Mataeomara sp., I cannot match it to M. ligata, M. coccophaga or M. mesotaenia. Nor does it seem to match the 'M. dubia' complex (including M. coccophaga) which Moths of Victoria (Paert 8) recognises. None of the images for Mataeomea sp. (genus) on the ALA seem to match it either.

OK, Mataeomora sp was speculative at best on my part. This musT be quite a dark form, most on the ALA are light coloured.
