It could be either subsp. paludosa (external surface of calyx extensively hairy, sometimes very shortly hairy) or diversicolor (external surface of calyx mostly or entirely hairless). This is according to the Vicflora key. The other subspecies are subalpine or alpine.

Betty, The ACT census of plants gives Euphrasia collina subsp. speciosa and Euphrasia collina subsp. paludosa as the two subspecies we have in the ACT. I struggle with identifying Euphrasia from photos the keys (PlantNET and Flora of Vic.) start with distinguishing between annuals or perennials and it only gets worse from there.

So does Jackie in Kozzie, admittedly with a lot more subspecies. If she has trouble, I don’t think the rest of us have any chance at all. There are old AVH records of diversicolor in the ACT, the latest in 1972, which appears to be too old to be in the Census.

Please note Betty's comment here is incorrect, it is E.collina speciosa that has the hairy calyx. Euphrasias are readily identified from photos.
