While we know Oxycanus sp. are difficult to identify, reference to the Moths of Victoria guide (part 5) suggests to me this specimen may be O. australis although we know that species has primarily a Tasmanian and Victorian distribution, but that it has been recorded at this latitude, albeit east of here in the coastal hinterland (Neilsen pers. comm.). By reference to MoV for Oxycanus with orange antennae, this specimens seems to me to have rami which are longer than O. dirempta, but not long enough to be O. antipoda or other alternatives. There is a good image of a moth named O. antipoda recorded in the ACT on the ALA and its antennae, to my eye are longer, consistent with the MoV guide. I am interested to here what my peers think! I believe it is O. silvanus, the antennae and forewing pattern fit, and it is common in the ACT
