whereas the Field Guide to the Birds of the ACT says it is Climacteris leucophaea
Do we need to change the latin names of the treecreepers in the Tree Guide?

The names that CNM goes by are those that are followed by the Canberra Ornithologists Group. They in turn follow the BirdLife Working List Vol 2. The names that CNM uses can be found at http://canberrabirds.org.au/publications/maps-forms-and-lists/annotated-checklist-of-the-birds-of-the-australian-capital-territory/. Recently there have ben many generic and specific name changes. The Treecreeper is one of them. Chris
