In Australia this used to be called Themeda australis. It is now considered to be the same as an African species and since the plant in Africa was named first (1775) that name has priority and the name Themeda australis has been relegated to the status of a synonym. If you used the quick search box near the top right of a page for Themeda australis it would have directed you to Themeda triandra.
