I presume that you have decided this is not odorata because the flowers are unscented and you cannot find any stolons or rhizomes. However, the worry is that I have been unable to find any mention on the internet thatbriviniana flowers are ever white. Here is an English key that might help you decide. It does not mention the flower spur in odorata, which Vicflora says is 'prominent'. http://cumbriabotany.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Cumbria-Key-to-Violets.pdf
I smelt the flowers and could not detect a scent, but that might just be my nose. I believe that stolons were present. V. odorata may be correct as you suggest.
