Acritoscincus duperreyi (Eastern Three-lined Skink)

Common name: Eastern Three-lined Skink. SVL 80mm.

Eastern Three-lined Skink is one of three three-lined (Acritoscincus, formerly included in Bassiana) species. Three-lined skinks belong to the Eugongylus Group of skinks in Australia. There are two three-lined species in the Canberra region.

Eastern Three-lined Skink like other three-lined skink has a distinctive pattern and sometimes a light reddish throat.

Distribution: Likely widespread in Canberra region but pattern of distribution is unclear.
