Phyllotocus erythropterus (Nectar scarab)

Found on flowers in the wetter parts of the ACT, e.g. Brindabella Range. Resembles Phyllotocus kingii in having the elytra reddish black and covered in setae (hairs). However, P. erythropterus has the extreme apex of the elytra black, and most of the hairs on the elytra are short and pale.
