User's notes

Assumed to be mating behaviour. The two snakes were initially sighting out in the open coiled together. When they became aware of us they took off and one then went down a small hole in the ground next to a concrete path whilst the other remained above ground and very alert. One of the snakes appears to be the same one recorded in previous sighting 4594368 as it has a black mark visibile on its head, similar to the snake in the previous sighting. The two snakes might also be those recorded in previous sighting 4593822 as that location is not far from this one. Thanks to Barbara for this initial sighting.
