A weird looking plant, my first thought was indigo but I could be persuaded otherwise. A damaged individual nevertheless

Yes looks very odd, I've never seen I. australis looking like this before, so not overly convinced. It almost looks more like I. adesmiifolia or a Swainsona species in my view though not 100% right for anything off the top of my head.

More likely Indigofera adesmiifolia, but not quite right for that either. Perhaps a specimen should be collected and lodged in a herbarium.
