You are possibly correct. Was it heathland nearby? I cannot find an underside image of this species to comp;are it with. donhe may be able to help. Although what I can see on Bold Systems suggests a plain underwing forewing for this species.

The underside is inconsistent with Dichromodes, which have triangular upperside patterns. The only local species that I know with black and white underside margins like this are Hypodoxa, which have no triangular upperside pattern.

I don't think this is Hypodoxa for mine. Wrong shape and anennae look inconsistent. Underside of Hypodoxa on LBH looks different.

I only got a scant view of upper. Very windy conditions. Is it possibly Antasia flavicapitata. Seen here before. Much brighter and contrasted individual than I’ve seen before but note bright examples on cnmp.
