Thanks Suzi but it doesn't have the characteristic brown shoulders, the white patches were white and not orange, as in the book and it appears to have only one eyespot on the hind wing. It was a puzzle.

Hi Kevin, this is a worn female Shouldered Brown. She doesn't have the brown 'shoulder' like the male, the wing patches are white because it is a worn specimen, and the hindwing eyespots look consistent to me for Shouldered Brown.
