I only recall one moth like this on the lightsheet at Goorooyaroo, and caught several of them. Mine are Gelechioids, so I'm thinking the apparently forward pointing palpi are really upcurved

Yes, and the posture looks too narrow for a Tortrid. Why is it confirmed: I only suggested Strepsicrates ?
