Clearly the three postings are of the same individual. I would have liked a side image of the head

Does look like a brown snake with those markings on the ventral surface?

Hi, side image of head now posted. The three postings are of two individuals - one small, less than 1 foot long, and one a lot larger, maybe 2 feet long and between and 5c and 10c piece in diameter (apologies for the mixed measurements - they are both dead and I don't want to handle them too much, they have been in the sun for 3-4 days now!). The little one is now in our freezer
