This is a new invasive grass that we would like to get an understanding of just how widespread it is in the region

User's notes

Two extra-large, extra-hairy plants that have come up among many smaller Panicum effusum in an area planted by Friends of Mt Painter in 2018. Image 5 shows one of the large plants on the left next to a small one on the right.

Thanks Cath - I'll get Steve Taylor to check the ID - I assume you pulled the weedy Panicum out
