Probably. This is the only shrub in the area, to my recollection, with leaves like this.
Though I would like to see more photos at a different angle, showing how the leaves are arranged on the stems, and a photo of the whole plant. A photo of the flowers would clinch it.

I was hoping to catch it in flower, but was too late clearly. The pods do look look like other images of this Lomatia but they were all split open already. I reported a sighting of a very similar looking shrub along the same track last year which in the end was identified as a Solanum but I wonder whether that may need to be revised? See

It does not matter that the pods are open. They are typical of Lomatia.
