The leaves in this photo are the widest I have ever seen on Xerochrysum viscosum (usually less than 5 mm wide, rarely to 10 mm wide). If they are sticky, with rolled edges (at least on the upper leaves), then the ID is probably OK. However, if the leaf margins are rough-hairy, the leaf width falls well within the range for Xerochrysum bracteatum (5-20 mm wide). None of the three references I checked about Xerochrysum bracteatum bracteatum leaves states whether the leaf edges of Xerochrysum bracteatum are rolled, so I presume they are not.

Thank you Betty for querying this species. I rechecked the labels at STEP and found that this is actually Xerochysum bracteatum. The Xerochysum viscosum is growing next to it. I can't seem to change the name as it has already been confirmed.
