Significant sighting

MichaelBedingfield noted:

12 Apr 2015

This sighting is significant because it is the largest number of these rare native plants to be found in one place since the 1960s. They are scattered sparsely around the edge of Point Hut Pond, except for the western side that is adjacent to Jim Pike Ave. Altogether there are enough plants that it may be a sustainable population. In places they have spread a few metres away form the water's edge into the grass and are tolerating being mowed. I have made this small patch the focus of this "Significant Sighting", but I will report a number of other sightings nearby, to show where the population is distributed around the pond.
