I think this has been misidentified and is more likely to be Ectropis excursaria. There is a strong kink in the strong black line in the forewing ( Didymoctenia doesn't have this feature). The sloping hindwing line, plain without dots, shows with magnification I believe, a distinct 'step' at either outward end. I can't see pectinations on the antenna, but that just may mean the specimen is female. I think it looks close to female specimens of E. excursaria on the Moths of Victoria supporting disc.
