The leaves seem to big to be Acacia buxifolia, could it be the top of Acacia rubida? Hopefully there is some-one out there who can be definitive

We really need a scale. Assuming the flowers are 5mm in diameter, it would fit into Acacia buxifolia, whose phyllodes are 1-3cm long and 2-8mm wide, with 7-15-flowered heads. It might also be Acacia boormanii, whose phyllodes are 1-3mm wide. However it has 5-10 flowered heads, which I think would be obvious. I don't think it is Acacia rubida, because the branchlets are green, not reddish. On balance, probably Acacia buxifolia.

Thanks for your opinion. It was definitely not Acacia rubida nor A. boormanii, which I know quite well. So I'll stick with A. buxifolia.
