Help document Sullivans Creek wildlife

As part of planning for the re-naturalisation of Sullivan’s Creek, a project under the Connecting Nature - Connecting People program is documenting what wildlife is already there and how this could be enhanced. You can help by photographing any plants, animals, fungi or other wildlife that you come across within the vicinity of the Creek and its tributaries. Thanks are particularly due to Con who has already added many sightings and provided an indication of the diversity that is out there, but we are just beginning the documentation, so please help out.

Is it any sightings within the boundaries of the five Sullivans Creek maps i.e. Acton, Turner, O'Connor, Lyneham South and Lyneham North?

Sightings within Banksia Street Wetlands, Dickson Wetlands and the very top of the creek around Goorooyarroo would also be fantastic! Thank you 😊😊

A great big thank you to Yogesh Vashist, Central Region Land Officer, City Services Directorate for responding positively to my request to allow fallen trees in the CNCP Sullivan's Creek, Turner area to stay where they are. These fallen trees are already acting to increase biodiversity.

There have been about 20 camera trap photos submitted by an equal number of people, in the last 48 hrs from sites east of Sullivans Ck in the ANU grounds. All of the camera traps are using an odour attractant on a cork tile. It looks like it might be a unit in Fenner School or is Is this the Connecting Nature - Connecting People program?

its a unit at the Fenner school run by Phil Gibbons
