We've just rolled out a series of performance improvements aimed at speeding up the website and many of the common operations and page loads. Due to our continued growth, some of the routines that used to run quickly when the site was smaller were starting to not handle the load on the platform and have hence been completely re-written and/or optimised.
The upload process for the smartphone apps on both iPhone and Android has also been sped up dramatically, you should notice your mobile uploads literally blinking now that they're uploading so quickly (after the initial transfer across the network is completed).
