User's notes

First pic is only one where flash worked. I do not know how to force flash on this camera.

What kind of camera do you have? Being able to force flash is quite important, especially when you find them in dark areas.

Christine are your size estimates right? and did you notice if this spider actually jumped or did it move more like an ant?

^Here are two more reference points for the species Michael suggested.

Hi Yumi and Michael, thanks for your comments, links and suggestion. I think the spider was quite small but I thought just over 5mm. It did not jump.
Yumi, I have a small pocket camera which is set to auto. A previous camera had a setting to force flash on, but this and my last one do not, it should flash if needed, but seems to need to be almost invisible before it does. I suppose I should download the manual and see if there is a way to force it. C.

Thanks Christine! That would be really really helpful because pattern & colour is a big indicator for jumping spiders and often auto flash doesn't respond when you need it to (happens on my camera too, so I force-flash all the time). Maybe if you can't figure it out, try turning up the exposure so it's a bit more visible.

Sighting 4239166: Potential sighting of the same individual/species noticed by Christine which could get ID after an ID is found for this one.
Also keep up to date with sighting 4250274

This looks rather like Holoplatys invenusta on ALA except for leg colour. https://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:biodiversity.org.au:afd.taxon:bd756280-5265-494a-87e2-e270bf08543b ?

Thanks Bron! I'm not sure if H. invenusta applies to this sighting and the other similar one Christine put up (4249255 & 4251631) as there is a noticeable lack in hairs and an overall lighter colour; it might.
I definitely agree for some others we have under Holoplatys sp at the moment! I think you've already found some of them: 3852821, 4250274, 4255266 and perhaps also 3362794 & 3362851 (the colouring of the scales are quite brown though, so I'm not sure)
Admin page is still down for me.

Thanks Yumi I'm still not able to do any spider confirmations (I think due to software upgrades). Plus my computer has technical issues and needs hardware upgrades which are taking time during the shutdown. I'm looking forward to getting both things sorted :)
