By the wings, looks to be newly emerged, flushed by watering? Tempted to think pink-bellied moth by the underside but the curled wings and lack of markings makes it unclear.. Went back later but it had gone (hopefully not eaten by birds).

It's tempting to think of a female Arhodia lasiocamparia. Perhaps the forewings when expanded would take on the much narrower and acute apex shape of that species. The hindwings of local A. lasiocamparia are usually pink right to the margin, inconsistent with this photo, but the species is quite variable, and there are a few specimens from further west where the hw colour matches the fw.
