Looks highly likely, although both the ALA and iNaturalist map it with a primarily northern NSW , Qld and central Australian distribution. Perhaps blown in on the gusty northerly winds we've been having?!

An Old Tropics species so its dispersal ability is apparently not in doubt.

ANIC has a couple of ACT specimens, and this is about as far south as it's been recorded. Many records from northern Australia.
