User's notes

I have now seen about a dozen of these, all on Lomandra longifolia leaves where they are easily seen against the bright green background. All had feathery antennae. I was even able to catch one that landed on my hand, if you would like a specimen. Body length (minus antennae) is about 4mm. I found a picture of Polyclonus online at http://v3.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?taxid=334014

Thanks Cath. Your observations suggest that Lomandra might be the hostplant of the larvae, and it would be worth searching them at some time in the future.
The boldsystems image apparently shows the museum specimen that a DNA sample was taken from. I have to say your images are much better!
