User's notes

This plant was dug up (probably by choughs) in early May, and the leaves scattered. These detached leaves still look fresh more than a month later.

The latter, unfortunately - those leaves were all detached and scattered about. However, I did re-bury the base of the stem that can be seen in the second image of the 5 May sighting on the timeline, just in case it was able to re-establish a connection with its fungus and continue to grow.
