The name 'Cashew beetle' is from the Australian Museum's Christmas beetle app. You can download it to your phone, it's quite good, with lots of detail for each species.

I previously identified this as Cashew beetle, Anoplognathus pallidicollis. I am now not sure whether it's that species - it may be A. pindarus.

In my opinion there isn't enough detail visible in the picture to identify it to species. It's best to get a good shot of the rear end with the pygidium at least, preferably also the underside. Could very well be A. porosus as well.
