A large Bullant, 20-25mm in length; in Rob Roy Reserve, in the hills to the east of Banks.

Hi Michael, can you remember if the posterior half of the gaster was black? It may be Myrmecia gulosa.

No Sam. This one was in a hurry to go up the tree and I couldn't get a better shot. I posted this photo because it was different from the ones I see most often, which have a black head and gaster.
